Go to Tools>>Print Batch Letters
This program is used to select a merge letter template that will be printed for the selected employees.
Select a merge letter template using the Letter Code assigned in Merge Setup.
The Description of the selected letter template will be displayed.
Select a Department using the Department Browse. Departments are setup and maintained in the Department Code Master. Department may be left blank if it will not be used in the selection process.
The Description of the selected department will be displayed, if applicable.
Select one of the following selection options:
No Date Selections
Hire Date
Anniversary Date
If Hire or Anniversary Date was selected as a date Selection Type, enter a beginning date for the date range. If No Date Selection is the Selection Type, leave this field blank.
If Hire or Anniversary Date was selected as a date Selection Type, enter an ending date for the date range. If No Date Selection is the Selection Type, leave this field blank.
Press the Build from Selections button to populate the Employee Grid based on the selection criteria used. Employees in the grid will automatically be selected to have the selected letter printed out.
Displayed employees may be unselected by clicking in the select box to remove the check mark.
The Letter Date will default to the current date which may be changed. Letter Date is a variable that may be used in a letter template.
Press the Print Batch button to open a print dialog box. Select a printer and press Print or OK to print the letter for the selected employees.
