Go to Utilities>>Payroll Exports>>Unemployment Export
This program will create an electronic submission file for unemployment.
Enter the state code for the submission file you are creating.
For Example:Enter PA
Enter or select the deduction code used for unemployment.
When a valid deduction code has been selected, its description will be displayed in this field.
Enter or select the beginning of the quarter as the starting range date.
Enter or select an end of the quarter as the ending range date.
Select the file structure required from the following:
PA Comma Separated (recommended)
PA ICESA
Enter the drive and folder for the submission file that will be created.
For Example:C:\myfolder
Tab or enter into this field. The correct File Name should be inserted and should not be altered. If the file name is not displayed, please contact the Horizon Help Desk for assistance.
Tab or enter into this field. The correct U.I. Account # should be displayed and should not be altered. If the U.I. Account number is not shown, please contact the Horizon Help Desk for assistance.
Enter the name of the contact person in all caps.
Enter the Title of the Contact person in all caps.
Enter the phone number for the Contact person. Do not enter dashes, hyphens or periods.
Enter an Extension for the Contract person. Leave this field blank if there is no extension number.
Click the Create File button on the Quick Links bar to create the file. After the program is finished an information box will be displayed with a "File Created" message. Click "OK" to close the program.
The file will need to be uploaded.
