Go to Maintain>>Tenants (Active)
Enter the tenant's Last Name and pick the tenant from the list or select the tenant using the Tenant Number or Last Name browse option
Go to Quick Link>>Unit Information
In the tenant's Section 8 Unit Master open the Detail tab
Check the Project Based Unit box under Voucher/Existing Housing Types
Under Unit Information change the Rent Calc Type to Certificate Calculation
Save the changes and Close the Section 8 Unit Master
From the Section 8 Tenant Master, go to Quick Link>>Rent Calculation
Complete the Rent Calculation, Save and Close
Note: there are no Payment Standards for a Project Based Voucher
From the Section 8 Tenant Master, go to Quick Link>>Create 50058 Record to create a 50058
Verify that the last page of the 50058 has Section 11
After the 50058 has been submitted to PIC, verify in the PIC viewer that the program type/field 1C says Project Based Voucher
