At the top of the each view are function options to assist with the operation of the program.
Quick Link - When available, clicking this option opens a drop down menu where quick access to other programs are made available. Some programs do not have any associated programs and a menu will not be available.
Prompt - In fields with browse capabilities this feature will open the browser to allow selection of appropriate data
Clear - in some views this function may clear a part or all of a view.
Clear All - will clear all information in the view
Save - Clicking on the save icon will save the information in the program and generally clear the view.
Clicking the down arrow beside the save button will provide some or all of the following functions:
Save and clear view - this option will save the information in the program and clear the view
Save without clearing view - this option will save the information in the program but will not clear the view
Save As... - in some programs this option will activate a function that will allow the information in the program to be duplicated in some manner.
Delete - depending where the cursor is in a program this option will delete all information, if allowed. A message box with "Delete this record" will be displayed followed by a Yes or No confirmation option will be displayed.
With the cursor in a grid this function will usually allow deletion of a single line of data. A message box with "Delete this line" followed by a Yes or No confirmation option will be displayed
Close - This function will close the view. Depending upon the program a save option may be displayed.
