Go to Maintain>>Tenants (Active)
Select the Tenant using the Number or Last Name fields
If the file is in "read only" mode go to Quick Link>>Unlock Tenant File. Select a Tracking Code and/or enter a modified description and click Save
Enter the date the tenant will be moving to Flat Rent as the Eff Date
Select the proper Action code (i.e. Annual Reexamination, Interim Reexamination)
Go to Quick Link>>Household Composition
Select the household members whose Income, Assets or Deduction information should be adjusted.
Go to Quick Link and select the appropriate program to adjust
Enter new lines or edit existing lines of information
Continue to enter or edit the income, assets or deduction information until the information is correct for the AR or IR.
Go to Quick Link>>Rent Calculation
Go to the Rent Calculation tab
Under Rent Options, review or add the Flat Rent amount (note the amount may change once the Auto Calculation button is clicked, so the flat rent amount may need updated again if it is not correct)
Under Rent Options, select Flat as the Type
Click the Auto Calculation button
Save and Close the Rent Calculation program
Go to Quick Link>>Create 50058 Record
If the HUD tool finds problems a 50058 Error Report will be displayed
Review the error report and fix all of the errors, then create the 50058 again.
Continue this process until there are no errors on the report, then print the 50058 for your records.
Note: The 50058 has been created even though there are errors and may be previewed and or printed to assist in finding the errors.
When a 50058 is created with no errors for a tenant in "Edit Mode" the tenant's file will be returned to "Read Only" mode
