How To Setup Recurring Work Orders
NAVIGATION: MAINTAIN menu > Recurring Work Orders
- Leave Recurring Object # blank

- The system will assign the number when the Recurring Work Order template is saved
- In the TYPE field, select one of the following:
- Site
- Fixed Asset
- In the STATUS field, select ACTIVE.
- Current recurring work order templates may be made inactive if they are no longer used.
- Enter or select the Site Number (enter Area, Community and Unit Number)
- Enter Work Order Note information. The note should be the description of the work to be done, i.e., Mop 1st floor hallway.
- Select a Category code.
- Select the Frequency of the Recurring Work Order. Available options:
- Annually
- Biweekly
- Daily
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Semi Annually
- User Defined
- Weekly
- Enter the number of Days to Finish
- Enter a check mark in the appropriate day of the week.

- If the Frequency is Daily, the user would check all the day boxes.
- If the Frequency is Semi Annually, the user can perform that task on Mondays only by checking the “Monday” box
- If the Frequency is Weekly, the user can check which days to perform the task
- Enter or select a Next Scheduled date
- NOTE: When Recurring Work Orders are created, the Next Scheduled and Last Completed Dates will be updated by the system
- Select one of the following Assigned To options:
- Both
- Contractor
- Internal
- Click SERVICE CODES
- Select a Service Code from the list. Tab through the line, entering or assigning Room and Floor information if applicable, until the Service Code information drops into the Table/Grid area
- Click COMMENTS to add general comments to the Recurring Work Order in the text area.
- Click the arrow beside the Save icon and select “Save and clear view”.
