Go to Activities>>Work Order Entry
Work Order Year - will default to the Current Year set in Work Order Settings - no need to change
Leave Work Order Number blank, the system will automatically assign the number
Select the Work Order Type of Tenant or Site
Site should be selected when the unit is empty and needs to be prepared for a new tenant (Make Ready)
Enter or select the Tenant Number, Last Name or Site Number depending upon the Work Order Type selected
Once the correct Tenant or Site is selected, tab to Work Order - Description of Work area and enter Work Notes or "Tenant Problem"
Tab to Category Field
Tab to Date Requested, the date will default to the current day and time. The default date and time may be changed.
Leave Work Start Date and Date Completed blank unless you are entering a Work Order that has been completed. The Date Completed must be greater than the current date or less than the Date Requested.
Enter Requested By...This is a required field and could be a Tenant, Supervisor, or Management
Select an Assigned To option from the drop down menu
Select an Employee to assign to the Work Order. This information will print on work order format 005 and the Outstanding Work Order Report can be printed out based on this information.
Check the Permission to Enter Checkbox if Maintenance has Permission to enter the unit or site
Leave Line blank
Select a Service Code from list
Select a Location if applicable
Enter notes if applicable
Tab until the selection is in the "Grid" or "Table"
The remainder of the work order information should be filled in after the work order is completed.
Click back on the Main tab
User should now see a Work Order Number
Click the down arrow by Print Forms and select Work Order Forms
Once Printed, Verify for accuracy
Save and Close
