This program is used to setup and maintain warehouse codes for use in Horizon modules. This program is available in several modules and warehouse information entered may be available in other modules for the same company or fund ID.
To set up a new warehouse code enter an alphanumeric code to represent the warehouse. For an existing warehouse enter or select the code.
Enter, view or edit the name for a warehouse.
Enter the physical address/location information for the warehouse in the following fields:
Address1
Address2
Address3
City
State
Zip
Contact
Phone 1
Phone 2
Up to three users may be entered/setup in this area. Enter the appropriate user id or leave these fields blank.
Place a check mark in the box to mark the warehouse as a consignment warehouse.
Enter a Warehouse Code to move items entered for this warehouse automatically into another. Leave this field blank if an automatic transfer of inventory items should not occur.
Enter or select a general ledger account number as the default inventory account number for the warehouse.
Enter or select a general ledger account number as the default expense account number for the warehouse.
Enter segment values in the appropriate segments, to have general ledger account information build automatically. Depending upon the general ledger account structure for the company or fund, some segments may be left blank. This information may not be needed for all warehouses or companies. Horizon personnel will assist in setting this area up during installation.
