Leave Recurring Income # blank as the system will assign this number
Select the Frequency for this transaction. Ex Annual, Monthly 1, etc. These frequencies may vary from organization to organization.
Transaction Information
Tab to the Transaction Code field and enter the correct income code for this transaction
Tab to the Modified Description field. This field will automatically populate with the description for the Transaction Code that you selected. This description may be altered to a more detailed description of the transaction.
Client Information
Tab to the Client Number field and select the appropriate Client. The Client’s last name, First name and Middle initial will automatically populate
Details
Tab to Create GL Entry checkbox and check it by clicking inside the box if you wish to create a GL entry for this transaction.
Tab to Pay Group, the client's default pay group will automatically be entered. You may change this when needed. This value determines which checkbook the deposit is recorded in, and is a mandatory entry.
Tab to Amount to Receive and enter the appropriate amount. If this income varies month to month you may leave this at a 0.00 amount. After pulling to the edit grid, the zero amounts are a good reminder that this month's correct amount needs entered.
Tab to the Reference field and enter a reference here if you wish to do so
Tab and it will prompt you to save the entry or simply click the save icon at the top of the Income entry screen.
Note: the Retain Transaction Code and Retain Client information checkboxes are used if you are entering multiple entries for the same client or using the same transaction code.
