Go to Maintain>>Section 8 Tables>> Utility Allowance Tables.
The Utility Allowance program is used to setup utility tables for use during rent calculations and for printing Utility Charts.
At the top of the view are functions such as save and delete. For more information on functions click here.
Select a Unit Type for a new utility allowance table or to view, edit an existing table.
Unit Types are setup and maintained in the Unit Type Master.
The description for the selected Unit Type will be displayed.
Enter an effective date for a new Utility Allowance Table or select a previously entered effective date/Utility Tables to pull up utility amounts to view or edit.
Only Effective Dates entered for the Unit Type will be available for selection.
Note:
Additional fuel sources may be added in the Section 8 Settings program.
For each applicable bedroom size and displayed fuel source enter the heating allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size and displayed cooking fuel source enter the cooking allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size and displayed fuel source enter the water heating allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the all gas dollar amount.
Other Electric Light, Refrigeration, etc
For each applicable bedroom size enter the other electrical allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the air conditioning allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the water allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the sewer allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the trash collection allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the range allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the refrigerator allowance dollar amount.
For each applicable bedroom size enter the microwave allowance dollar amount.
Enter the dollar amount of the allowances given for Natural Gas Service Charge for each bedroom size if the service charge applies.
Enter a dollar amount for Electric Surcharges for each bedroom size that applies.
