Where Does 50058 Information Pull From?

This help file will outline where in the Horizon Tenant Management module the information on the 50058 form is pulled from.  HUD's Validation Tool (http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/systems/pic/50058/pubs/cvtool/readme.cfm) has been incorporated into the program and will perform a validation when a 50058 is created.  HUD's tool will check 50058 data against the MTCS Tech Reference Guide for the latest 50058 form.  The HUD tool does not catch every error, it is up to the user to review the information on the 50058 as well.

Further validation of the 50058 is done when the 50058 file is uploaded to PIC.  Information on the 50058 is checked against previous data that has been uploaded and accepted for the unit and the tenant.

For example:

An interim recertification will not be accepted if the tenant's move-in 50058 was not sent or accepted.
