Go to Inquiries>>View Inactive Tenants
This program is used to view tenants that have a status of inactive.
Most of the fields and functions in the Inactive Tenant Master are the same as in the Tenants (Active) file.
If you have any question on the fields and information available in the Inactive Tenant Master please review the information in Tenants (Active).
Tenant's that have been made inactive may be returned to the Tenants (Active) file by changing their status back to "Active" and saving the information.
The following program is only available in the Inactive Tenant Master>>Quick Link menu:
This program will create a bad deb entry in the Housing Billing Module if the system is setup properly.
The Housing Billing Module must be installed and setup for use.
Tenant Accounting must be set for Collection Loss.
The bad debt amount field must have a value for the inactive tenant on the Accounting tab.
When selected from the menu a question box will appear similar to the one shown below:
Click Yes to allow the program to create a customer for the tenant in the Housing Billing Module for the amount listed to transfer.
An informational box will be shown as the transfer is happening:
When the process has finished a process complete box will be shown. Click OK.
Click No to stop the process and close the box.
To setup Collection Loss in Tenant Accounting:
Go to Settings>>Tenant Accounting
Open the Refund/Loss Setup tab
The Collection Loss Setup information must be filled in for:
Collection Loss Code (an accounting code should be setup for collection loss and entered here)
Collection Loss Company (enter the company code the Housing Billing Module is in)
Receivable Group (enter the receivable group code. The Receivable Group may be setup in the Housing Billing Module)
