Go to Activities>>Delinquency Processing>>Edit Late Charges
This program may be used to edit individual late charge transactions.

At the top of the view are functions such as Quick Link and save. For more information on functions that are available click here.
At this time the quick link options are non functional
Select a Transaction Number to edit.
When a valid transaction is selected the related information will fill in.
Transactions may be deleted:
Highlight the transaction number and press the delete key.
Select Yes in answer to Delete this record? to delete the transaction
Select No to the question to keep the transaction
The transaction's Tenant Number will be displayed. A different tenant may be selected with either the tenant number or last name field if applicable.
The transaction's tenant Last Name will be displayed. A different tenant may be selected with either the tenant number or last name field, if applicable.
The First Name of the tenant associated with the transaction will be displayed. If a different tenant is selected, their first name will be shown.
The middle name or initial of the tenant associated with the transaction will be displayed if one was entered. If a different tenant is selected, their middle initial information will be shown.
The Transaction Date assigned when the late charges were created will be shown. The transaction date may be changed.
The accounting code that was setup for late charges will be displayed. The code cannot be changed.
Because a transaction code cannot be assigned in this program, additional transactions cannot be entered here. New transactions for late charges should be entered in Adjustment Entry.
The Description entered for the transaction code will be displayed in this field. The description cannot be changed here.
Enter a comment for the transaction or leave this field blank.
The default Transaction Amount will be displayed in this field. The transaction amount may be edited.
If a change has been made on the transaction and you have tabbed or entered through all the fields a question box will be shown asking to save Yes or No.
Click Yes to save and clear the screen
Click No to return to the transaction to make further changes.
A save may be performed at any time by clicking the Save icon or using the F2 save key.
